The Road Department requires permits for activities that are performed within the County Right-of-Way. Activities included in the permitting system include utility work, driveway access, and vegetation management.
The Lincoln County Code addresses definitions for these activities.

Transportation permits are also required if hauling loads that are over-dimension. Contact the Public Works Department for complete information regarding load configurations.
|Perform Operations Permit (PDF)||Permit to Perform Operations on a County Road: This permit is for: Installation, repair and/or replacement of utilities, special events such as Parades and Marathons, and temporary road closures. |No-Spray Permit (PDF)||Permit to Control Vegetation: This permit is for those who wish an alternative to herbicides. The applicant agrees to keep brush and vegetation trimmed or removed.
