Alcohol & Drug Prevention Education Program (ADPEP)
Lincoln County's Alcohol and Drug Prevention Education Program (ADPEP) aims to promote health and prevent substance use, misuse, and abuse. ADPEP works with community partners and stakeholders to reduce risk factors and increase protective factors associated with alcohol and other drugs to help make Lincoln County safer and healthier.
ADPEP Programs
Responsible Alcohol Sales Training
At least once per year, we offer Responsible Alcohol Sales Trainings for any alcohol, tobacco, or cannabis retailers in Lincoln County. We partner with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC), Problem Gambling Prevention, and Tobacco Prevention, to offer a variety of education that may affect your business or place of work. This course also includes information on current laws and hands-on practice with fake IDs.
Safe medication disposal is a crucial component to fighting the opioid epidemic. Safely disposing of expired or unused medications can help prevent accidental poisoning, misuse, and overdoes.
