• Your name, age, and contact info
• Details about the bite (what happened, when, where)
• Info about the animal (type, behavior, vaccination status)
• Any symptoms you’re experiencing

If Your Pet Bites Someone:

• Report it to 541-265-4112
• Vaccinated pets can usually quarantine at home for 10 days
• Unvaccinated pets may need to quarantine at a vet’s office or shelter

If Your Pet Was Exposed to Rabies:

• Report it to 541-265-4112
• Vaccinated pets quarantine for 45 days
• Unvaccinated pets quarantine for 6 months

The call may take about 20 minutes. Be ready to share:

• Your name, age, and contact info
• Symptoms, when they started, and how long they lasted
• What and where you ate in the 3 days before getting sick
• Who you ate with
• Recent travel or water activities

Outside City Limits:

Inside City Limits:

• Location: Exact address or description of the site.
• Description: Type and amount of waste observed.
• Timing: When you noticed the issue.
