Our Mission

Parents as Teachers promotes the optimal early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers.

What is Parents as Teachers?

Parents as Teachers provides an evidence-based curriculum in home visiting education. It is offered to Lincoln County families enrolled in Babies First! or CaCoon, with children ages O through 5.


Parents as Teachers curriculum supports the vision that all children will learn, grow, and develop to realize their full potential.

Services provided

Community Health Workers partner with our Babies First! and CaCoon Nurses to provide:

  • Support for healthy parent/ child interaction.
  • Early learning for school readiness.
  • Regular monitoring of child development
  • Support for family wellbeing.
