Paint The Exterior of the Lincoln County JAIL EXTERIOR the colors and design as specified in (Schedule A)
All permits, including a City of Newport, Oregon Building Permit, will be obtained by contactor.
Work to include materials, equipment and labor to: Remove all loose paint, cleaning of all surfaces including window bars and frames by chemical and or power methods to meet product specification as stated in (Schedule B) and (Schedule C) prior to and during application.
Remove old caulking from around windows, doors and penetrations where adhesion of old caulking has been compromised and re-caulk as manufacturer specifies in. (Schedule C)
Repair / filling of concrete flaws (rock pockets & air holes) shall be done on a T&M basis.Areas for this work will be determined by the contractor and reviewed by a Lincoln County representative prior to commencing with the work.
Contractor to include T&M rates with the base bid.
All steps to protect pedestrians and vehicles in the work area shall be taken to prevent possible damage or injury as a result of cleaning or painting operations.
Courthouse/JAIL operations must continue throughout the entire project. This includes access to parking lots and the building during normal business hours, 7:30 A.M.- 5:30 P.M.The remainder of the site will be accessible at all times.
Demolition/Construction debris becomes the property of the Contractor and must be removed from the work site and disposed of at an approved disposal site.
THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY SITE VISIT WEDNESDAY JUNE 7, 2017 AT 9:00AM
