Moonshine Park

We are now taking Visa and Master Card at Moonshine Park.  Use your Visa or Master Card (credit or debit) to pay for Day Use Fees, Camping Fees and purchase wood for campfires.  This is a self-service pay station. Just make your selection insert your card, and receive your pass.  You will still be able to use cash or check to pay at Moonshine Park.  (Moonshine Park is the only Lincoln County Park that will be accepting card payments.  As always, the Park Staff will be happy to assist you.)

Moonshine Group-sites reservations will be taken on Monday the 2nd of April.

Individual campsites - no reservations

All individual campsites are first-come, first-served.  No reservations are available for individual campsites.  Visit the campground in person to determine availability or the Camp Host may be able to tell you if any campsites are currently available.  You can contact the Camp Host at 541-444-1326.

Moonshine Park Group Area Reservation Policy

Site rental: $85.00, per site, per night.

  • The group areas A or B are available for rent from April 1st to October 31st. 
  • Reservations are only taken for the group sites, (individual sites are on a first-come basis).
  • Reservations will be taken on a first come first served basis.
  • Only one reservation will be taken per group, up to the 10 day stay limit.  Large groups may rent both sites, if available.
  • There is an $85.00 non-refundable deposit required for reserving your site.  The deposit will be due 10 days after making a reservation.
  • No Early Reservations Will Be Taken!
Fees - Day Use Area:
Day use closes at Dusk. $3 per vehicle; $30/group site.

Park Description

Moonshine Park is a beautiful, secluded eighteen acres on the banks of the Upper Siletz River. Fishing and swimming holes are plentiful along this stretch of the Siletz. Moonshine Park has multiple tent and camping sites with fireplaces and picnic tables. Also available are two group camping sites and two RV-trailer drive through sites. There is a drift boat launch, horseshoes pits, and open spaces for Frisbee, volleyball, and other sports. There are three restroom facilities that are wheelchair accessible and have potable water.

Open Year-round

The campground, parking and day use area of Loop A continues all year, including restrooms. All other areas of the park are closed during the winter months, from November 1 to March 31. Access to the Siletz River is unlimited.  A camp host is on site year-round.

DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy 229 to Siletz. Turn east onto Logsden Road, drive approximately 7.5 miles until you reach the Logsden store. Then cross the bridge and turn left onto Moonshine Park Road. Follow for approximately 4 mi. Then turn left into the park gateway.
