National Health Center Week August 12 - 18, 2018

Lincoln Community Health Center is part of a nationwide network of health centers that serve more than 27 million Americans. The heroes who work at health centers are at the center of this year’s National Health Center Week.  Lincoln Community Health Center will hold several events around the county to mark National Health Center Week 2018:

  • August 14th - Information session at the Newport 60+ Activity Center, 11:30 AM - 1 PM. Blood Pressure checks will be offered and Light Snacks provided;
  • August 15th - Health Council Members will present to the Board of Commissioners information about the Lincoln Community Health Center, 9:30 AM at the BOC conference room, Court House;
  • August 15th - Stop by the Newport Fred Meyer from 9 AM - 4 PM or the Lincoln City Safeway from 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM.  Lincoln Community Health Center staff members will be handing out APPLES and information about Lincoln Community Health Center, with a focus on preventative measures. “An apple a day is not the only way to keep the doctor away.”

Summer 2018 - Expanded Hours in Newport

Additional clinic appointments and expanded hours will be offered to patients of all ages at the Newport Community Clinic on the Newport High School Campus, 322 N.E. Eads Street. This clinic location will be open through August 30, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Thursday. Lincoln Community Health Center (LCHC) is a community-based, patient-directed organization providing a full array of quality health care services to Lincoln County community members of all ages. LCHC also operates four School-Based Health Centers for school-aged children. The Oregon Health Authority recognizes LCHC as a Tier 3 Patient-Centered Primary Care Home for our commitment to quality, coordinated care.

MyChartCentral also provides you access to Lucy. Lucy is a personal health record that gives you a permanent home to organize all your medical information. You can request an updated copy of your medical record at any time and store it in Lucy. You can also add personal information about your health and choose to share it among all organizations where you receive care.
